We have been working hard behind the scenes here at Sidcup Place, and we are finally ready to share something special with you.

If you have visited us recently, you know that The Star is more than just a pub. With our historic 1700s architecture, the stunning Great Hall, and the sweeping greenery of the surrounding parks, it is a venue built for grand moments.

We are thrilled to announce that we are opening our doors to couples looking to plan their perfect, intimate wedding for 2026, 2027 and beyond.

We have been collaborating closely with our dedicated wedding coordinator, Amanda, to curate a wedding experience that is personal, stress-free, and beautiful. Whether you are envisioning a small ceremony or a sophisticated reception, Amanda and the team are here to help bring that vision to life.

You Are Invited: Exclusive Open Day

To celebrate, we are hosting a Wedding Open Day next week on Saturday, 24th January.

This is your opportunity to:

• Explore the Venue: Walk through The Orangery and our historic spaces to get an idea of how they would be dressed for a celebration.

• Meet Amanda: Sit down with our coordinator to discuss your specific needs, dates, and ideas.

• Soak in the Atmosphere: Experience the grandeur of The Star and envision your special day against the backdrop of the park.
  

How to Attend (Appointment Only)

To ensure we can give every couple our full attention and a proper tour of the facilities, this Open Day is strictly Appointment Only.

We are currently taking bookings for 30-minute private consultations throughout the day.
